About
Wendy Hanlon (b. 1999) is a multidisciplinary artist living and working between “Vancouver” and Berlin. Recently her research has been devoted to traditional fibre arts methodologies and the ways that they find meaning within modernity. Her practice is sewn into satin and brushed into wool. Her art unravels political and personal narratives by blending various mediums and sources, crafting multifaceted explorations which re-examine conventional perspectives. She is continuously attempting to better process the world through the practice of creating art. She is from the prairies.
